Christmas Card "Santa's Village"

 Good day my crafty friends!

I’ve just received my Happy Mail from Heffy Doodle and the stamps I ordered inspired me to create a card immediately.

To start I’ve stamped all the images from Santa's Village from Heffy Doodle on Neenah Solar White paper 80 lb. And colored them with Copic markers. I mainly used green and red markers. R46 and RV29 for red parts and YG67, YG23 and YG17 for green ones. I used E29, W5,W3 for houses. Then I added accents with a white gel pen to all the images. I die cut them with the coordinating dies.
Then I made my background. I used Mama Elephant slimline die. I ink blended the top part of my card with Hero Arts Blue ink pad and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide. After that I sprinkled it with some water and after several seconds and dabbed it with paper towel. Next, I splattered the panel with a little gouache and silver metallic watercolour and then let it dry completely.

I added the sentiment Merry Christmas from Heffy Doodle which I die cut from white cardstock and adhered it at the top of my panel. Also I made snow hills from glitter cardstock using Lawn Fawn borders.

Next I assembled everything on my panel.  I attached two houses directly on the panel using double sided tape and used foam tape  to stick one of the houses and characters to get some nice dimension. I used liquid glue to attach the trees.

The card is all done.
Thank you for being with me today.
